A few years after I got married, I started dreaming of someday migrating with my whole family to Canada. I wanted to raise my children there. I want to give them a better opportunity and a great place to grow. Aside from that, I want them to be exposed to high technological advances and even the steel buildings in Canada.
My dreams of going there is far from becoming real as of the moment. My husband and I are currently jobless and we don’t have the current resources to process our papers especially now that we are planning to bring all three of our kids together.
Anyway, some people may thinking that leaving the country will make me less as a Filipino but as for me, I think it is not the case. You can be a Filipino anywhere around the world. What is important is you know who you are and where you are from!
